SUMMARY
Dockhands at the Lighthouse Marina are responsible for a myriad of different tasks. Dockhands work under the immediate supervision of the forklift operator, the Marina manager or supervisor in charge. Duties include, but are not limited to fueling boats, greeting and helping customers, and performing general maintenance duties around the marina.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Not limited to)
- Be helpful and friendly when greeting marina customers
- Assist customers with whatever they need (launching boats, carrying things)
- Fuel and pump out boats at gas dock
- Police marina ground for trash
- Empty all trashcans and recycling bins (inside office and big trashcans outside)
- Keep areas clean and organized (tool room, dock house)
- Clean bathrooms
- Perform dock walks
- Assist forklift drivers putting boats in the water and pulling them out
- General maintenance (weed-eat, paint, sweeping the dry storage buildings)
- Trained in OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standards, lifting and back safety
- Fully understands all fire and emergency procedures
- Maintains good personal hygiene habits
- Follow Employee Conduct Policy and other policies out lined in handbook
- Follows all company policies
- Promoted positive guest and employee relations

Working Conditions
General working conditions include being outside all day long and braving the scorching South Carolina summers.
