Job Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Above Property Revenue Management Team in coordinating and implementing activities involving transient, corporate, group businesses and to further enhance revenue potential. S/he will be responsible for providing the Regional Sales & Revenue Management Team reports to make timely strategic decisions and implement the changes as needed.

 

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and process REV-MAX analytical reports as requested by the VP of Sales & Revenue Management
  • (Includes Booking Pace, Market Mix, Group Room Control Log, Monthly Volume Report, )
  • Load and file all negotiated contracts into the PMS/ CRO/ GDS systems after approval/signatures
  • Load and update all room rates, packages, and
  • Maintain proper inventory for hotels that are utilizing third party
  • Perform regular audit of Online Travel Agencies to ensure rate parity through all
  • Perform regular audit of Brand.com to ensure contents are loaded
  • Monitor internet-based programs to ensure accuracy and tracking to assist in targeted marketing
  • Work closely with Hotels' Front Office and Sales Department to ensure inventory
  • Advise Revenue Management Team of any deviations in rate applications or reservation arrangements
  • Prepare and communicate group resumes and rooming lists to each
  • Monitor group masters, cutoff dates and group cancellations, releasing any unused rooms at the determined
  • Advise Director of Revenue/ Director of Sales of any discrepancies within a group
  • Maintain group ceiling, rate ceiling, and inventory pick up in the Group Room Control
  • Attend and participate in weekly revenue strategy meetings, and any other mandatory
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all assigned Hotel
  • Keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems or unusual matters of
  • To support GMs, DOS, and DOO in the absence of the Revenue
  • Perform any other job-related duties as Understand the reservations process including the distribution channels and reservations flow
  • Attend Weekly Sales Meeting to maintain communication of strategies and need periods
  • Champion the Revenue Management culture to property level and personnel
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the VP, Sales & Revenue Management

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

This person must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

 

Standard Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Read, write, speak English fluently

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Previous hotel experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and
  • Appropriate professional appearance and
  • Detail oriented, able to prioritize and handle multiple
  • Strong experience or adaptable training in the use of automated systems, personal computers and software
