Be the shining light that sets our guests experience on the right foot from the moment they pick up the phone.  These exceptional Reservation Specialists assists guests through the reservation process for all Blue Water Properties.  Through exceptional guest service, friendly demeanor and attitude of helpfulness through the entire process, our Reservation Specialists will ensure guests book stays at our properties utilizing closing techniques to build the reservation.  Going the extra mile for a smile is the norm in this role! 

Essential Responsibilities:  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Efficiently and professionally operate all features of the reservation processes including managing multiple PMS to build and book reservations as well as additional attractions or accommodations during their stay. 
  • Support guests to modify existing reservations.  Support properties marketing, sales and revenue management goals and initiatives which include promotional marketing calls, upsells or minimum stay requirements or advanced calls to guests to confirm reservations
  • Use the Blue Water Way to provide an impactful guest interaction via phone, email or web chat to ensure a smooth, pleasant and helpful process for guests to book accommodations.
  • Provide basic support for guests regarding property details, site specifications, amenities and nearby attractions, restaurants or other related questions regarding their stay.
  • Follow call processes and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction, proper call handling technique and closing the reservation.
  • Creates a strong sense of urgency or ability for guests to book immediately including assistance in collection of payment handling, registration for programs or contacts and providing confirmation of reservations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Provides regular and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 1-3 years of front desk, reservations or customer service oriented role

Success Factors:

  • Must be enthusiastic, upbeat and energetic and convey this over the phone
  • Must have ability to communicate clearly through phone, email or web chats.  
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work a diverse work schedule to include weekends, holidays, and evening hours.
  • Must work well under pressure and high-stress situations
  • Must be able to effectively use computers and technologies including answering the phones, using computers, copiers, fax machines as well as credit card processors
  • Must be able to thrive in a call center environment
