Job Purpose: Perform a combination of tasks which maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive guest experience.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
  • Cleans and prepares guest rooms for occupancy through the proper application of Naples Hotel Group guest room cleaning procedures.
  • Stocks and maintains carts with specific products in required quantities to clean assigned Guest Rooms.
  • Clean assigned Guest Rooms in an allotted time period.
  • Completes the Guest Room Attendant Daily Report that correctly identifies the status of each assigned Guest Room and reports any maintenance problems or product shortages.
  • Maintains security for guest and property by keeping Guest Room doors locked at all times, reporting any suspicious activity by guests or others, properly labeling lost and found articles and turning them in, and observing all other security and safety regulations.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or General Manager (tasks include but not limited to: vacuuming corridors, cleaning public or associate restrooms, washing windows, laundry, checking rooms, or training of other associates).
  • Will realize guest satisfaction is of highest priority and associate must follow all guidelines and training related to put forth management.

Job Skills: 

  1. Ability to carry out specific oral or written instructions, frequently following a simple routine.
  2. Ability to perform repetitive actions consistently.

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

Adaptability

Formal Education

Ability to speak, read, or write English. 

Experience:

Hotel level housekeeping, preferably Service Focused properties.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; bend; walk; use hands or finger; or feel objects, tools or controls; lift boxes (up to 15 pounds); talk and hear. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer screen.
