TownePlace Suites by Marriott Mt. Pleasant, SC is a beautiful 1 and a half year old 101 suite extended stay hotel located next to the Wyndham Hotel right off Chuck Dawley and near the Jim n Nicks and 1st Walmart in Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464

 

Job Purpose:  To maintain a high quality of services offered to guests through lead by example management of guest services, telephone services, complimentary breakfast service and  guest accounting. Maintain established operational standards and maximize profits of the hotel. Manager on Duty shifts while GM is off duty.

 

Job Responsibilities:

* Lead the Front Desk and Breakfast staff to achieve outstanding levels of customer as graded in post-departure email comment card, surveys and social media feedback

* Hiring, Leading, Brand training enforcement, Brand and Company required daily documentation enforcement.  Scheduling Front Desk, Night Audit and Breakfast Staff on a 2 week schedule according to forecasted occupancy and special demands.

* Maintain highest standards of guest service quality by walking around looking for opportunities.  Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an improved product through employee development and enforcing the quality image our Team Members should portray at all times.

* Maintain procedures for guest credit limit control and handling resolution of financial transactions, security of monies, guest security and emergency procedures.

* Receive departmental related guest complaints and ensures corrective action is taken.

 * Ensure staff uses guest interaction skills.  Reward employees who meet/exceed guest expectations.

* Handles Accounts Receivables, Accounts payable coding. Limited 3rd party direct bill payments and other direct bill invoice and payment posting for 4 active accounts.  Handles Marriott Rewards Redemption stay billing account. Accounting and paperwork like scheduling would be 2 days out of your 5 scheduled days each week

*May covers shifts in the event of unexpected Team Member call out

* Month End documentation reports by the 1st business day of the new month

* Manager on Duty leadership and resolution activity in the absence of the General Manager

Job Skills:

* Analyze and interpret business records and statistical reports on a daily basis to lead your Teams

* Use mathematical skills to interpret financial information and prepare daily, weekly and month end required reports.

  * Make business decisions based on production reports and similar facts, experience, and opinion.

 * Plan and organize the work of others.

 * Change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.

Experience

 Minimum 1 year experience on night audit, 1 year experience in front desk operations, and 1 year previous Management experience in any job or  a Minimum 12 months previous experience as a Front Desk Manager, a Front Office Manager or Assistant General Manager 

 Background Check:

You will be handling cash and making daily financial transactions. Criminal Background pass and Credit Check pass required for this position
