Position Responsibilities and Functions

  • Optimize placement, products/programs, and content to increase traffic and drive revenue
  • Coordinates with internal teams, Brand ecommerce teams to meet measurable goals
  • Plans and manages digital advertising and online promotional activities ensuring measurable goals are met
  • Manage, maintain and promote the hotel's brand website with content updates, SEO strategy, linking initiatives and directory submissions
  • Develop an account plan alongside PR agency to help evaluate effectiveness of initiatives
  • Performs website analytic and content analysis through ongoing audits for our hotels and ensures hotel content is accurate and up to date
  • Performs keyword analysis, research and copywriting and manages text and images for our hotel websites and listings
  • Develops social media marketing plans and content calendars for execution at the property level
  • Responsible for identifying website content and photography updates to keep content relevant and fresh.
  • Responsible for on-going internet searches to identify new websites and travel booking sites, as well manage and promote presence on existing travel marketing sites
  • Prepares marketing activity reports to track and measure online advertising programs
  • Work in coordination with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing to plan and execute advertising and eCommerce campaigns to support the hotel strategic marketing plans working within the established budgets. 
  • Monitor brand compliance for the company
  • Work with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing to elevate the internal/external communications including production of materials such as web, video and blogs.
  • Monitor the hotels(s) performance of electronic distribution and implement strategies and tactics to enhance site conversions
  • Monitor hotel(s) presence on, and placement of all reputation/review sites (TripAdvisor, Yelp, Social Media, Google, OTA's etc.). In addition, review all user reviews (positive and negative) and ensure property level teams are appropriately utilizing responses through appropriate channels
  • Manage Social Media pages
  • Developing measures of success to ensure media plans result in highest possible levels of business benefit and incremental ROI 

Education & Experience

  • Experience in hospitality marketing
  • Fluency in English
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree
  • Excellent guest service and hospitality skills
