M&R Hotel Management, Is currently looking for a Area Revenue Director to over see the portfolio of Hotels in the Midwest Market;  located in Marion IL, Collinsville IL, Mt. Vernon IL, 3 hotel In Joplin MO, Indianapolis IN and Anderson, IN - Open to someone who can work remotely,  BUT MUST know the markets and have Hilton and Marriott Experience.  

Job Summary:  

  • Set and manage appropriate yield controls to maximize each hotels revenue from all distribution channels, including CRO, GDS, Website, and Third-party channels.
  • Communicate sell strategies with sales and operations team(s).
  • Monitor and evaluate market demand trends, including surveying the competitor's strategies.
  • Conduct weekly Yield meetings and recommendations for long and short-term growth with each property.
  • Complete and submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports (as requested).
  • Monitor and evaluate CRO-performance on a weekly and month basis, including, conversions, regrets and denial statistics.
  • Develop pricing strategies for all markets, by season.
  • Maximize REVPAR by analyzing and forecasting demand while establishing effective selling strategies and overall market mix.
  • Work in tandem with General Manager and hotel team to establish strategies to increase top-line revenue.
  • Contribute to financial success of the hotel by participating in annual budgeting process.
  • Generate and review daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports.
  • Maintain historical data from all distribution channels in all markets.
  • Create and maintain accurate month to month, quarterly and annual forecasting.
  • Identify/create best practices and share for the benefit of the entire portfolio
  • Successfully onboard new hotels as the portfolio grows.
  • Develop, communicate and implement sales strategies, mix of business, channel management, pricing strategies, as well as reservation systems and related policies.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships with OTA and FIT Market Managers to maximize on opportunities in the market
  • Attend specific training, webinars, conferences, etc deemed necessary
  • Partner with Sales team to determine how to best utilize special promotions.
  • Effective use of the Revenue Management tools: STR, Hotelligence, Demand 360, Booking Channel Reports, Pace Reports, Market Vision and ProfitSage.

Job Skills:

  1. Highly computer literate with a high level proficiency with Excel.
  2. Knowledgeable of hotel technology: PMS, Channel Manager, GDS, CRS, Extranets.
  3. Good analytical and numeric skills.
  4. Ability to work under own initiative in a highly pressured environment.

Job Qualifications: 

Education

Bachelors or Master's Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism or Economic Studies preferred or an equivalent combination of education.
