The Revenue Analyst will directly support the regional revenue management team using systems and implementation of strategies to maximize revenue.  The revenue analyst will provide reporting analysis, in-depth market research to support strategy and provide hands on support for building tools and systems to monitor revenue.  Your goal: grow our business through rate and occupancy management. 

This role will largely support the Ocean City- MD, Eastern Shore and Delaware Beach markets, applicants must have experience in resort and seasonal markets.  

 

Day to Day:

  • Assist Regional Revenue Management team with preparation of reports and analysis for report outs
  • Manage our OTA channels and ensure accuracy at all times
  • Monitor market data and provide research to be able to respond to demand and be proactive to gain revenue
  • Work closely with property management and sales team to ensure strategies are aligned

  • Assist the revenue management team with preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports and analysis.  Supports the analysis of trends, events and historical information to understand property revenue potential and impacts.
  • Demonstrates superior knowledge and proficiency in property management systems within portfolio as well as other revenue management tools or systems.  Will regularly adjust and edit rates, information and availability in systems.
  • Provides knowledge and demonstrates proficiency in OTA systems and ensuring proper information is loaded and displayed at all times.
  • Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive revenue management systems.  Provide support and development of tools, reports and analytics to create revenue management roadmap. 
  • Works closely with sales and marketing in sales reporting and analysis to ensure strategies and tactics are supported with results
  • Support operating budget process
  • Provides basic technical assistance, support and guidance on use of systems and tools.

Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • 1-3 Years of hospitality experience
  • Associates or Bachelors in Business, Information Systems, Hospitality, or other related field

Success Factors:

  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis
  • Strong proficiency in development of reports, database structures and presentation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other database and reporting systems
  • Proficiency in hospitality PMS and reporting systems
  • Independent self starter; Displays high level of resourcefulness
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Drive to meet or exceed deadlines; works well under pressure
  • Effectively communicates to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
