Datz Restaurant Group began with the idea of a modest local restaurant that the friends and family of Suzanne and Roger Perry could call home. But in 2009 when Datz opened in South Tampa, plans quickly changed. Datz was and has remained a restaurant that's not only talked about, tweeted about, and covered by local and national media outlets such as Travel Channel, Cooking Channel, Food Network, FYI, and Good Morning America, but is also the most reviewed business in all of Tampa Bay. Datz Restaurant Group now continues to grow with our bakery Dough, and the latest venture Dr. BBQ, with Food Network personality Ray "Dr. BBQ" Lampe.  We opened our second Datz in St Pete, Florida May 2019 and we are opening our third Datz in Riverview, Florida May 2020.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items
  • Checks station at the beginning, during and end of shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
  • Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
  • Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order
  • Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests
  • Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
  • Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests

Job Requirements:

  • Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages High School graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • A minimum of two years of previous serving experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
  • Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds
