Overview  

This position's primary purpose is to assist the Above Property Revenue Management Team in coordinating and implementing sales and revenue management activities to enhance the hotels' profit potential. The ideal candidate is comfortable in an office environment, is proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and can input and translate hotel data. S/he will be responsible for creating and providing reports for the Revenue Management team to make strategic decisions. The reports must be completed in a timely manner and with precise accuracy. The candidate must be self-motivated, detailed oriented, and has a keen ability to identify and solve issues. 

This position is not remote and will be based out of our corporate office in Clearwater, FL. S/he will report directly to the VP of Revenue Management. 

Responsibilities 

  • Create and process analytical reports as requested by the VP of Revenue Management and Above Property Team, including revenue strategy packets, financial reports, ownership reports, and more
  • Load and file locally negotiated rates into the PMS/ CRO/ GDS systems after approval
  • Perform regular audit of Online Travel Agencies to ensure rate parity through all channels
  • Perform regular audit of Brand.com to ensure contents are loaded correctly 
  • Monitor internet-based programs to ensure accuracy and tracking to assist in targeted marketing 
  • Advise Revenue Management Team of any deviations in rate applications or reservation arrangements 
  • Monitor group masters, cutoff dates, and group cancellations releasing any unused rooms
  • Advise the Revenue Management and Sales teams of any discrepancies within a group block
  • Attend and participate in weekly revenue strategy meetings and any other mandatory meetings
  • Keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems or unusual matters
  • To support GMs, DOS, and DOO in the absence of the Revenue Management 
  • Perform any other job-related duties as Understand the reservations process, including the distribution channels and reservations flow 
  • Attend Weekly Sales Meeting to maintain communication of strategies and need periods 
  • Champion the Revenue Management culture to property level and personnel 

 

Qualifications  

 Standard Qualifications: 

  • High school degree or equivalent 
  • Read, write, speak English fluently 

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Hotel experience preferred 
  • Excellent oral and written communication 
  • Excellent organization skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Strong experience or adaptable training in the use of automated systems, personal computers, and software 
  • Self-motivated and can maintain productivity with little supervision 
  • Curious and loves to learn
