Overview: 

As the Corporate Food & Beverage Manager, you will support Food and Beverage (F&B) critical initiatives for our portfolio of both Select-Service and Full-Service hotels. You will be our internal go-to resource for the latest F&B trends, programs, and brand standards. Additionally, you will lead the administration and dissemination of all "Best Practices" across our portfolio. In support of the hotel F&B teams, you will find opportunities to improve training, profitability, and customer satisfaction.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Serves as Food & Beverage subject matter expert for the company 
  • Support and advise the F&B teams 
  • Implement all brand and company F&B policies, procedures, SPIs, and SOPs. 
  • Lead the roll-out of new F&B initiatives and updates 
  • Provide analysis and support for under-performing F&B operations. 
  • Identifies opportunities and proposes solutions for continuous process improvement. 
  • Research trends and competition. Conducts forward-thinking research to understand market needs and the F&B talent to remain competitive and to support and grow the F&B operations of our locations. 
  • Balance innovation and creativity with business goals to help achieve financial, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement metrics. 
  • Plan strategies and directions for owned and managed outlets, evaluating them physically, conceptually, operationally, and financially. 
  • Research new technology, tools and F&B related equipment and services. 
  • Lead the recruitment process for key on-property F&B positions and ensure appropriate talent is identified in compliance with the department staffing plan. 
  • Support recruiting, hiring, training, and development of property-level F&B Team Members. 
  • Follow all company and safety procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 2 or 4 year degree from an accredited University in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or related major; or related work experience 
  •  3-5 years' experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or in wide range of restaurant and bar operations in a major hotel chain. 
  • Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape in the Food and Beverage segment and must be able to remain current with brand standards for multiple brands as well as local and industry trends. 
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to effectively adjust to changes in business priorities. 
  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to discern color, taste, and texture. 
  • Ability to train (e.g. new programs/products/services, skill gaps on action plans). 
  • Travel up to 90%, as needed 
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 50 pounds with assistance. Stands, sits, or walks for an extended time period.  
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
