Working with the VP of Marketing and various Department Heads with executing marketing strategies in partnership with appropriate corporate team members to assist in achieving hotel performance goals. The position acts as a liaison between the Hotel's franchise, as well as outside agencies and contracted vendors/service providers. Practices overall project management and ensures the implementation of a comprehensive marketing program. Requires extensive and regular interaction with the VP of Marketing as the strategic leader.

The position is responsible for developing communications content and input from various channels, including by not limited to website, social channels, and advertising. Assists in developing on-property brochures, on-property offers, some guest communications marketing materials, and other hotel content. Assists in hosting, coordinating, and supporting on-site media visits, and on-site photo shoots. Helps with creating and executing innovative publicity programs that will increase revenue and awareness, creating a positive perception of the hotel (s), its amenities, and its services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute tactics to grow our social media platforms for hotel portfolio (Primarily Facebook & Instagram) from editorial calendar planning, implementation, copy, and reporting
  • Ability to write unique, creative and engaging social media, email, webpage and marketing content.
  • Has a creative, fresh approach for social media posts and responds in a timely manner to all followers
  • Must regularly log in and manage notifications for all hotel social media accounts
  • Streamline company materials and campaigns to ensure a consistent and concise message
  • Create content schedule and plan to follow that complements seasonality, brand initiatives, and special events.
  • Ability to travel to hotels to shoot and plan content
  • Able to take photos, video, and edit them, in addition to managing professional media partners to provide content.
  • Develop marketing materials and advertising campaigns from conception to completion that are timely and effective
  • Set measurable goals for social content and cross-channel programs; work with others on the marketing team to determine the proper KPIs and tools necessary to measure
  • Analyze data, write concise metrics recaps and report on the results to the marketing team and management
  • Able to handle customer service requests and actions and coordinate with hotel teams if necessary.
  • Manage and work with each hotel's Social Media Champions and monitor their posts and performance including onboarding and training (this program/training is already created and rolled out, it requires upkeep)
  • Grow an enthusiastic community of followers on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Communicate clearly on hotel policies, amenities, and services
  • Ability to apply multiple franchise brand & identity guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Canva, Sprinklr or with Hotels (Preferred - not required)
  • Experience with Facebook and Instagram Social Accounts
  • Be able to share content examples from previous work or personal accounts to show knowledge of platforms
  • Photography, Photoshop & video editing skills are a plus
  • A self-starter, strong team player and lateral thinker, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently
  • Ability to manage several projects concurrently; excellent time management and organizational skills and results-oriented
  • Entry-level position no experience needed
