Overview  

The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-level administrative support and coordinate services to the Revenue Management Team. The ideal candidate is comfortable in an office environment, is proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and can input and translate hotel data. They will be responsible for creating and providing reports for the Revenue Management team to make strategic decisions. The reports must be completed promptly and with precise accuracy. The candidate must be self-motivated, detailed oriented, and has a keen ability to identify and solve issues. 

This position is not remote and will be based out of our corporate office in Oldsmar, FL. You will report directly to the VP of Revenue Management. 

Responsibilities 

  • Create and process REV-MAX analytical reports as requested by the revenue management team. These reports include booking pace, market segmentation, rate analysis, group control log, corporate production, and more.
  • Prepare weekly revenue meetings and call notes for the Revenue Managers
  • Update revenue statistics in the revenue management database daily
  • Assist with preparation of month-end P&L review, and department forecast/budget
  • Develop data housing tools utilizing Microsoft Excel, including numeric formulas, VLook Up, and links
  • Load and file all negotiated contracts into the PMS/ CRO/ GDS systems after approval/signature.
  • Perform regular audits of Online Travel Agencies to ensure rate parity through all channels
  • Monitor Guest and customer satisfaction and resolve any service issues to ensure future business
  • Monitor group masters, cutoff dates, and group cancellations to release unused rooms at the determined time.
  • Attend and participate in weekly revenue strategy meetings and other mandatory meetings
  • Attend brand-related webinars to take notes and distribute them to the revenue management team
  • Maintain complete knowledge and understanding of the products and offerings of all assigned hotels
  • Keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
  • To support GMs, Sales Team, and Regional Team in the absence of the Revenue Manager.
  • Understand the reservations process, including the distribution channels and reservations flow
  • Champion the Revenue Management culture to property level and personnel

Qualifications  

 Standard Qualifications: 

  • High school degree or equivalent 
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently 

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Hotel experience preferred 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Elevated organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 programs
  • Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor 
  • Detail-oriented, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, with appropriate follow through
  • Strong experience or adaptable training in automated systems, personal computers, and software programs
  • Self-motivated and can maintain productivity with little supervision
