Responsibilities  

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies encompassing all facets of pricing, inventory control, demand analysis, yield management, market segmentation, business/channel mix, selling strategies, and methods following Naples Hotel Group practices
  • Conduct weekly strategy meetings for assigned properties; discuss trends and sales tactics, review results from the previous meetings and determine action plans to maximize RevPAR for upcoming events and future dates.
  • Ensure that all revenue statistic reports, including the financial statement, are accurate, consistent, and completed by the given deadlines
  • Cultivate relationships with vendors and internet wholesalers to accomplish revenue goals and negotiate placement for hotels. Monitor all distribution channels to ensure content accuracy, rate parity, and pricing integrity
  • Assist the sales team with pricing groups and business transient accounts; conduct displacement analysis as needed to determine profitability.   
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and e-commerce department to create eNewsletters, hotel packages, and other marketing-related efforts. 
  • Provide training to front desk employees on reservation selling, rate integrity, sell-out efficiency, and inventory management
  • Prepare forecast with accuracy and participate in the annual budget process for assigned hotels. 
  • Spearheads troubleshooting and resolution of any GDS rate loading issues as they occur
  • Ensure that all revenue management related systems are maintained
  • Active involvement with General Managers' engagement and adjustments

 

Qualifications  

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience 
  • Two years of hotel revenue management experience 
  • Experience with either Marriott, Hilton, or IHG is preferred 
  • Multi-property experiences preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel 
  • Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor 
  • Ability to work well under pressure 
  • Passion for excellence and exceeding expectations 
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little to no supervision 
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must 
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work 
  • Constant curiosity and love to learn
