Task Force General Manager:

We are looking for an individual that can motivate people and build a team of professionals that want to belong to something great.  The Task Force General Manager will serve as an acting General Manager of hotels in transition and provide corporate support for training of new General Managers, AGM's, FOM's, and other Department heads.

Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Serves as acting General Manager of hotels in transition and provides corporate support for projects as directed. Responsible for the team leadership and results of hotels as assigned.
  2. Must be able to fill in for General Managers within an assigned area where there's a vacancy.
  3. Assumes full responsibilities as the acting GM, managing all revenues, cost controls, team development, staffing, conflict resolution, and all facets of the daily operations while supporting Naples Hotel Group's (NHG's) vision, mission, values, and goals.
  4. Trains and/or works in other positions to assist assigned properties with employee training or shortages in positions. Including but not limited to front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  5. Position requires accountability and effective communication. Works within established guidelines and keeps corporate supervision informed continually of operations progress.
  6. Ensures that corporate reporting deadlines are met and that financial results, high guest satisfaction, and positive team spirit are a priority.
  7. Leads by example with integrity.
  8. Guides and directs management in the development, production, promotion and financial aspects of the organization's projects and services.
  9. Manages all sources of revenue including rooms, housekeeping, food and beverage, engineering and other departments. Ensures all departments are profitable and maintain strong working relationships.
  10. Creates the hotel's annual budget, monitors and measures performance of assigned hotels and coaches as appropriate throughout the year.
  11. Provides effective people leadership of assigned hotels by attracting, motivating, developing, rewarding and retaining top talent.
  12. Ensures General Managers, AGM's, FOM's, and other Department heads are trained using only approved company and brand standards.
  13. Provides education on and enforces the requirements of NHG Performance Standards.
  14. Travels between properties to train General Managers AGM's, FOM's, and other Department heads. Also performs essential functions of General Manger in absence of General Manager at assigned properties.
  15. Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills:

  1. Computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet, and familiarity with brand specific property Management System(s).
  2. Ability to exercise excellent communication, presentation, organization, time management and listening skills.
  3. Ability to use analytical skills for measuring business potential and value to the hotel.
  4. Ability to successfully interact with all levels of customers and hotel management.

Job Qualifications: 

Travel

This position is based in Florida will require travel up approximately 90% of the time 

Education

Bachelors degree in Hotel Management.

Experience

Minimum 3 years experience working in Marriott, Hilton, and IHG properties in a Management Role. 

Licenses/Certifications

Possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive to customer appointments.
