  • This position will coordinate events and directs training of Banquet Staff to ensure superior quality of service and room arrangements for all meetings and banquet functions
  • Analyze Banquet Event Orders, communicate effectively with Clients, Managers, and Associates, and Chef to ensure that all room set-ups, equipment, supplies, and staffing
  • Exceed expectations
  • Supervise banquet room set-up and clean-up daily
  • Think quickly on your feet
  • Ensure consistency throughout banquets
  • Supervise Team members in Banquet area to retain and motivate associates and hire
  • Greet clients in charge and review BEO - respond to changes/requests with immediate attention to detail

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
  • Capacity to lead a team to deliver excellent service
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to lift, push or pull occasionally up to 50 lbs.

  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
