Puff 'n Stuff Catering is looking for a talented butcher to join our onsite kitchen team preparing baked goods for events of all sizes and working with us to "passionately perfect life's celebrations".
From $18 pending experience in MASS PRODUCTION AND BUTCHERY. IF you're applying,
You should have on your resume at LEAST 1 year in a steady butchering and processing position. This position will be responsible for two to three hundred pounds a week to start of varying meats and fish, cleaning portioning and packing for further handling. This Position operates in a COLD ROOM.

Sous vide banks, vak-pak machines, Antigriddles, Ice cream makers, Induction equipment, Centrifuges, smokers, Proofers, blast chillers, puckers, dough sheeters and shapers, liquid nitrogen handling and storage equipment, molecular gastronomy additives and equipment and most importantly knowledge and experience to teach and utilize them all.
The Framework and Must-haves;
A general knowledge of basic butchery equipment including but not limited to, knives - cimeters, breaking, filet, boning - scalers, scales, band saws, grinders, slicers, vaccuum packaging machines.
Must be able to work independently
Ability to meet Attendance Standards
Ability to Portion and Pack to Accurate Quantities/Counts according to our event schedule and policies
Ability to do basic arithmetic with or without a calculator.
Ability to lift 25-50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift
Ability to stand, twist, turn, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, use step ladders, repeat finger and wrist movements for long periods, and communicate effectively and professionally.
Food handling Certification or ability to test onsite with us to provide you with one.
