SUMMARY
Responsible for the profitability of the Food and Beverage Department, in coordination with high guest satisfaction, innovative menus, programs and events. Must maintain high quality standards in service, control of labor, and beverage quality and sanitation procedures. Also responsible for the hiring, supervision, development, and training of all non culinary F&B personnel, in order to maintain a high level of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:
- Manage all Restaurant Front of House day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards including
- Scheduling, hiring, and training of Front of House restaurant staff personnel
- Maintain Accountability of standards including uniform, grooming, all training including TIPS
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Maintain the integrity and proper usage of the software tools available specifically restaurant POS, and correct billing to hotel POS system (room charges, private events, etc.).
- Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
- Ensure Compliance with Heath Department, Liquor Laws, and all other laws
- Identify customers needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
- Completing and facilitating Monthly and quarterly inventories of Food, beverage and other inventories
- Ordering of all paper & janitorial goods
- Establish targets, schedules, policies and procedures
- Provide a two way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork including attending regular managers meetings
- Maintaining proper costs within the budget as determined by management
- Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
- All other duties as assigned by management
