Summary
Responsible for the profitability of the Food and Beverage Department, in coordination with high guest satisfaction, innovative menus, programs and events. Must maintain high quality standards in service, control of labor, beverage quality and sanitation procedures. Facilitate culinary and beverage menu preparation in a timely manner, implementation and oversee the daily, weekly and LTO promotions for all restaurant offerings. Also responsible for the hiring, supervision, development, and training of all non-culinary F&B personnel, to maintain a high level of FOH service. Able to follow direction and guidance from company leadership, property General Manager and ownership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all Restaurant Front of House day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards including.
- Scheduling, hiring, and training of Front of House restaurant staff personnel.
- Maintain Accountability of standards including uniform, grooming, all training including TIPS
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
- Maintain the integrity and proper usage of the software tools available specifically restaurant POS, and correct billing to hotel POS system (room charges, private events, etc.).
- Facilitate the development of exceptional menus, purchasing goods, and continuously make necessary improvements.
- Ensure Compliance with Heath Department, Liquor Laws, and all other laws.
- Identify customers' needs and respond proactively to all their concerns.
- Completing and facilitating Monthly and quarterly inventories of food, beverage, and other inventories
- Ordering of all paper & janitorial goods
- Establish targets, schedules, policies, and procedures.
- Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork including attending regular managers meetings.
- Maintaining proper costs within the budget as determined by management.
- Report on management regarding sales results and productivity.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
- Mastery in delegating multiple tasks.
- Communication and leadership skills
- Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
- Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
- Guest-oriented and service-minded
