Job Purpose: A central contact for information specific to human resources policies and procedures for client companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Train managers and supervisors on ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO, Title VII
• Train managers and supervisors on interviewing, hiring, terminations and harassment
• Leadership and coaching of management
• Assist with EEOC charges
• Create policies and procedures
• Analyze HR practices
• Review compensation practices
• Provide guidance for state, local and regulatory compliance
• Create employee handbooks
• Ensure resolution of client issues
• Maintain strong business relationships, retain clients, ensure quality service
• Communicates and interprets human resource policies while providing remedies for any employee relations issues/ other duties as assigned
• Review job descriptions
• Maintains knowledge of changes in employment legislation at local, state and federal laws for compliance/ other duties as assigned.

Experience and skills:

• 10+ years strong human resources employee relations experience; some of which MUST have been with a Professional Employer Organization
• Compensation requirements in accordance with DOL
• Excellent communication and listening skills. Ability to construct and deliver presentations, including PowerPoint in-person and webinars.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Education

Bachelors degree. Preferred major Human Resource Management or similar field of study.

Travel: Less than 25%
